Opened in March 2007, Salon de Sol offers our Fluvanna customers multi level tanning in the latest and most contemporary tanning equipment available today. Our supplier, ETS, is recognized as one of the most technological advanced tanning bed equipment suppliers in the World, and a leader in the tanning industry.
In addition, we feature Mystic Tan MyMyst™ spray booth. The MyMyst™ UV-Free spray on tanning booth is designed to deliver a customized sunless tanning application to each customer based on their body size, skin type, and desired color. A perfectly uniform, natural-looking tan in less than 60 seconds!
All full time consultants will be "Smart Tan" certified consultants, trained to provide the opportune tanning experience on an individual basis.

Job Requirements
- Tanning Services and Retail Sales
Now part-time positions. This
front-line customer services position is responsible for providing a unique customer
experience in Salon de Sol’s high-end retail tanning service operations.
Essential Job Functions
1. Offers impeccable
customer service to tanning customers visiting or calling into Salon de Sol.
2. Sells Tanning Services, related lotions & merchandise.
3. Performs
regular cleanup duties after tanning sessions are completed, as well as periodic
tanning room, workstation and general store cleanup duties. Duties include but
are not limited to laundering and folding of towels, dusting, and bathroom clean
up detail.
4. Assists with and attends promotional events.
5. Performs
other related duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
6. Attends
regular training, store and company meetings.
Education
& Experience
1. Demonstrated ability to be a good communicator,
and provide high-level customer service support.
2. Excellent verbal communication
skills, including organization, detail and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability
to work independently, to work under supervision, and to work in a team-based
and goal oriented environment.
4. Skill in operating various office equipment,
such as personal computer, calculator, copy machine, and telephone system
5. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
6. Ability to maintain schedules.
7. Ability to perform routine bending/stooping while cleaning and filing.17
8. Ability to perform routine walking/standing during course of day.
9. Ability
to hear and speak well enough to converse over telephone 100% of the time..
10. Ability to work evening and weekend hours as necessary.
11. Ability to
be flexible in scheduling work hours.
12. Ability to actively participate
in the operational tasks of running a Full-Service Tanning Salon Operation.
