Salon de Sol features Solaris Tanning Beds, incorporating patented Wolff systems lamp technology developed by Friedrich Wolff, the "father of Indoor Tanning." Introduced to the United States in 1978, this European technology has set the standard for indoor tanning equipment and lamp technology in the Unted States.

Salon de Sol tanning beds manufactured by ETS, a leader in U.S. tanning Bed manufacturing. The Wolff System of specialized lamps and reflector systems are custom engineered to to each bed style to achieve optimum results in indoor tanning.

ABOUT WOLFF
While studying the beneficial effects of ultraviolet light on athletes, German scientist Friedrich Wolff noticed an interesting side effect - tanned skin. Realizing the appeal of a beautiful tan, Wolff founded the indoor tanning industry. His research led to development of indoor tanning equipment and lamp technology. Called "the father of indoor tanning," Wolff brought his European technology to the United States in 1978. He set the standard for the industry with specialized lamps and a reflector system that was ideally suited to indoor tanning. Today, the company operates in North America and Western Europe, and has patent licensees in Belgium, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States. Solaris 336
Each new client should begin his or her indoor tanning program in
our Solaris 336 Base Tanning Beds. These hi-profile units are perfect
to start a base tan or for weekly use in maintaing your tan while
providing 20 minutes of rest and relaxation.

Maintenance

Equipment is an important part of any Tanning Salon and a top priority at Salon de Sol . What's more important is the types of bulbs and the maintenance of the equipment. We run a variety of bulbs in our equipment. We can assist you in reaching a golden brown tan, more of a reddish tan, get you in and out of a bronzing unit as fast as 12 minutes or start you tanning again once you've reached your tanning plateau. The most important thing about our equipment is how it is maintained. Our Sophisticated computer software monitors all aspects of our equipment and insures that we change the bulbs hundreds of hours before the manufacturer tell us to which affords you the same intensity of UVA/UVB output no matter when you visit us. Our acrylics are polished weekly to insure the optimuim tanning experience. We offer you 3 different levels of tanning equipment to make sure you get the result you are looking for.
